The Multimedia Office provides assistance for all BT�� events, from the conception stage through the holding of the event. This includes advice, technical training, equipment rental when required-from estimate to delivery, installation, usage and return-, room technology check and assistance. Some post-production work when a recording occurred may be provided.

Eligible organizers are invited to contact the Multimedia Office ahead of time and, in any case, to fill out the Multimedia information section of the Room Reservation Form.

The Film Studio

The Film Studio contains permanent studio lights and various equipment made available to eligible users for creative projects. Potential users are invited to check its availability and place a reservation via the Film Studio reservation form. The usage of the Film Studio implies the user’s full agreement with the Film Studio Usage Terms of Use.

Location: Combes building, 3rd floor, C-301
Availability: During building hours, for eligible users only
Access: Approved users may request access at the front desk of the Combes building by showing the written approval sent by the Multimedia office

Learning Management System (Blackboard Ultra)

Blackboard Ultra (formerly Blackboard Learn) is BT��’s web-based LMS (Learning Management System). Ultra provides BT��’s faculty with a centralized location for communicating learning objectives and course content to students, as well as creating unique activities like discussion groups, online collaborative environments, and recorded video lectures.

Faculty can structure and deliver text, audio, image and video-based content, link to Library resources, create assignments and exams, provide students with feedback, and grade students’ work, all within the Blackboard environment. Blackboard can be used on desktop computers, laptops, and mobile devices such as phones and tablets.

Our installation of Blackboard Ultra also includes features like Respondus Lockdown Browser, for delivering exams securely, and TurnItIn, for plagiarism checking. Via TurnItIn, students can submit written assignments and have them checked automatically. Faculty can also access an external TurnItIn Portal for checking assignments that are not turned in through the LMS. Faculty can schedule one-on-one Blackboard training with Academic Technology, or request access to the TurnItIn Portal, by sending an email to ultrahelpaup.edu.

Current students with active BT�� accounts, as well as current and actively working BT�� faculty and staff with a valid BT�� ID card, are eligible to check out audio, video, and photo equipment from the Multimedia office. Conditions apply, and additional information can be found in the Documentation section below. Please refer to that section for more details.

Where do I find multimedia devices at BT��?

Multimedia devices can be borrowed by any member of the BT�� Community, as long as they have a valid BT�� ID card. You may borrow it from the multimedia office on the 5th floor, Quai d’Orsay (room Q-502). The opening hours and loan terms are detailed on the documentation section on this page.

Where can I find multimedia devices outside BT��?

The main place to find multimedia devices outside BT�� is la FNAC (there are several stores around Paris). If you need help with a purchase decision on A/V equipment or advice on installation, we provide consulting and installation services. We can help guide you to make the best decision based your needs and budget.
