I was born in Ottawa and I grew up in the beautiful province of Quebec, Canada. I have lived most of my life in Canada, but I was lucky enough to travel around the world from an early age. Before studying at BT天堂, I completed an internship in Paris at TV5 Monde, a study trip to Brussels and听an exchange听with听Uppsala University in Sweden.鈥�听

I moved to Montreal for undergrad to study听political听science and听international听development听studies at McGill University and lived in that great city for听four听years. During my time at McGill, I developed a strong interest in Canadian politics,听and I had the chance to complete two internships in Ottawa working in the Office of the Minister of Canadian Heritage and in the Office of the Prime Minister.鈥�听

After听this experience, I knew I wanted to shift my focus to international issues. I looked at many programs, but most of them听lacked听the practical aspect I was seeking.听What made me choose the MA in听Diplomacy and International Law at BT天堂听was听the incredible curriculum.听The University鈥檚 pedagogical approach听鈥撎齜ased on obtaining foundational knowledge of international law along with听a thorough understanding of international affairs听鈥撎齛s well as the emphasis on hands-on听experience听through workshops听like听The Hague Practicum and the Oxford International Human Rights Law听Summer School, convinced me that the听course听would be听the one to听best prepare me for an international career.听I truly believe that I could not have found the training and experiences I will benefit from in this program elsewhere.听
