Information about Campus Tours, Access and Visits

The is a provision of the Post-9/11 Veterans Educational Assistance Act of 2008. This program allows US institutions of higher learning to voluntarily enter into an agreement with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to fund tuition expenses that exceed either the annual maximum cap for private institutions or the resident tuition and fees for a public institution. The institution can contribute up to 50% of those expenses and VA will match the same amount as the institution.

  • Do I qualify?
    • You must qualify for the Post-9/11ÌýGI Bill at the 100% eligibility tier
    • Be an enrolled BTÌìÌà student or pending admission (Part-time and visiting students from other institutions are NOT eligible for the Yellow Ribbon Program at BTÌìÌÃ)
  • How does it work?
    • BTÌìÌà receives your official Certificate of Eligibility for the Post-9/11 GI Bill and verifies the 100% eligibility
    • After applying the Post-9/11ÌýGI Bill to your annual tuition and fees, BTÌìÌà applies the BTÌìÌà Yellow Ribbon Scholarship up to €6000 per year and the Yellow Ribbon Program matches those funds
    • *NOTE: The Yellow Ribbon Program covers tuition and fees that are billable to the VA and does NOT cover housing or other fees Ìý
  • Under this agreement, Yellow Ribbon Program participants should note:

    • The combination of university aid and outside aid designated for tuition (i.e. GI Bill & Yellow Ribbon Program) shall not exceed the cost of tuition and fees
    • BTÌìÌà cannot certify Yellow Ribbon Program benefits retroactively and will not certify any student for past semesters in which a student may have been eligible for Yellow Ribbon Program benefits
