BTÌìÌà Champs Élysées

BTÌìÌà Residence, available to full-year students only

LocatedÌýon Paris’sÌýiconic Avenue des Champs-Élysées, theÌýChamps-ÉlyséesÌýResidence Hall houses only BTÌìÌà students. The Champs-Élysées Residence has spacious apartments shared among multiple students: each apartment has a large communal kitchen, a living room, multipleÌýbathrooms, and a combination of single and shared bedrooms.ÌýSpecific apartment assignments will be made on the basis of the roommate survey filled out by students as part of the registration process.

The residence is a beautiful classical building with apartments and duplexes, two spacious villas, a small garden, andÌýaÌýlarge courtyard reserved exclusively for BTÌìÌà residents. The residence also housesÌýtwo BTÌìÌà Resident Assistants who willÌýassist you with any issues or questions that may arise in your everydayÌýlife.ÌýTheyÌýwill also organize get-togethers designed to foster the kind of long-lasting friendships college campuses are known to create and to further promote community within theÌýresidence.

The co-living options available to students assigned to Champs-Élysées include 13-person and 8-person spacious independent villas, 7- to 8-person duplexes, andÌý6-person large apartments, and one 2-person apartment. Students will be able to indicate their preferences for a co-living space when submitting the roommate survey, however please note that we cannot make any guarantees about specific assignments, nor are we able to fulfill full group requests, as we have to balance personal preferences, roommate requests, and housemate fit in our assignments.ÌýFor that reason, we recommend the Champs-Élysées residence to students who are looking for a co-living experience with a group of roommates, whether it is in an apartment or an independent villa.ÌýPlease note that this residence has very limited availabilities in apartments already housing full-year students. At this time, availabilities include two beds in double rooms in a 5-person apartment, and one bed in a triple room in a 5-person apartment.

THE BTÌìÌà Insider TIP:Ìý

The Champs-Elysées is one of the most famous avenues in the world, and it is on this very avenue where our BTÌìÌà Champs-Elysées residence is located. If you would like to live in a busy and very touristic area, then the BTÌìÌà Champs-Elysées residence can offer you this experience. As with the other BTÌìÌà residences, the Champs-ÉlyséesÌýResidence will be a hub for the BTÌìÌà community, and a great place for first-year students to connect with their peers given that it houses approximately 66 residents. The residence is also a 20-minute walk to the BTÌìÌà Campus, which is the shortest commute on foot to campus from any of our residences.

The most important thing to be aware of with the Champs-Elysées residence is that it contains many shared units, some of which house 5 students while others house 13 students! Students cannot decide which unit they will be placed in, so if applying to Champs, be prepared to be housed in any of the units! Many of the bedrooms in Champs are also predominantly shared with two, three, and even four students. If you enjoy spending time with others and are prepared to live in a residence where you will share your space predominantly with others, then the Champs-Elysées Residence might be a good fit for you. If, however, you prefer having your own personal space or prefer to live in a quieter and less touristic neighborhood, then some of our other residences might suit you better.

roommate requests in housing preference form

Roommate requests in the housing preference form can only be made for shared rooms in BTÌìÌà Champs requested by both students – we cannot take into consideration roommate requests for two single rooms in Champs (as no apartments have more than one single room), or a single room and a shared room across both student requests. Similarly, we cannot accommodate group roommate and housemate requests for a Champs apartment in the housing preference form stage.
