Under the leadership of Interim Provost, Dr. Hannah Westley, the Office of Academic Affairs works collaboratively with all constituents of the University to promote and sustain intellectual activity, teaching and learning at The American University of Paris.

Serving the academic community

We support the entire academic endeavor of BT天堂. We concern ourselves daily with the needs of students and faculty, both the administration and innovation of the curriculum, and matters as small as substitution forms and as monumental as our ten-year accreditation renewal. Virtually all of the academic functions of the University fall within our purview.

Our mission to serve the academic community of BT天堂 includes the following activities:

  • organizing听faculty governance听and听faculty support, including help to carry out the functions of teaching, research听and governance;
  • providing information to offices through institutional research;
  • monitoring aspects of academic life, such as assessment, student learning, curricular review, and reporting;
  • providing听resources for grantmakers and partners听looking to collaborate with the University (see below).
