The Fine Print

Once eligibility for the Post 9/11 GI Bill is proven through your VA Certificate of Eligibility, we award the Veterans Scholarship automatically; you do not need to complete a separate application. The VA Certificate of Eligibility must be submitted to theÌýsasataup.edu (BTÌìÌà Certifying Official)Ìýprior to your first day of classes. Veterans Scholarships cannot be awarded retroactively or adjusted if you fail to notify the BTÌìÌà Certifying Official before the deadline.Ìý

You may choose to apply for BTÌìÌà institutional financial aid, well in advance of receiving your VA Certificate of Eligibility. BTÌìÌà regularly awards a significant amount of need-based financial aid and other scholarships to veteran students. If you qualify for both a Veteran Scholarship and receive any other BTÌìÌà institutional financial aid, you will receive the larger award; you may not combine the Veteran Scholarship with any other financial aid awards.

IMPORTANT: Those students who qualify for the Yellow Ribbon Program through the Post 9/11 GI Bill should NOT apply for BTÌìÌà institutional financial aid given that the program already covers tuition and fees in most all of the cases.

The Veterans Scholarship is awarded to students who are registered full-time (between 12 and 18 credits) in the fall and spring semesters and will not be adjusted upward for course overloads. Part-time students will have their awards pro-rated, using a percentage based on 12 full-time credits. However, students are not eligible for the award in their first semester if their first semester at BTÌìÌà is part-time.Ìý Students beginning in the spring semester would qualify for half of the annual amount. The maximum annual amount of the award for the academic year (fall, spring and summer semesters) is 5,000 euros.Ìý

To continue receiving the Veterans Scholarship each year, you must be in good academic standing at BTÌìÌÃ.ÌýÌý Ìý

The Veterans Scholarship is not available to non-degree-seeking (visiting) students.
